AI-Powered Fatigue and Stress Monitoring System

The Canadian Space Agency is developing algorithms to monitor and detect fatigue and stress in Government of Canada employees using biosensor technology. This system uses machine learning and deep learning techniques to analyze health data and identify patterns of fatigue and stress in real-time.

The system collects and processes personal health information from biosensors to provide early detection of fatigue states. This affects employees by enabling proactive health monitoring that could improve workplace safety and wellbeing. The system is currently in development and involves processing of personal information, with data sourced from health databases and de-identified datasets.

Key information for transparency: This system processes personal health data collected through biosensors. Primary users are Government of Canada employees. The system is being developed by vendor Myant and is subject to AI notification requirements.
