d@Media is an artificial intelligence system deployed by Employment and Social Development Canada to assist employees in creating internal media monitoring newsletters. Rather than manually reviewing hundreds of articles, employees provide predefined content requirements in advance, and the AI system intelligently identifies and summarizes the most relevant articles matching those criteria.
The system is currently in production and is used by Government of Canada employees who are responsible for monitoring media coverage and preparing internal communications. This AI system does not involve the processing of personal information about individuals.
