The AI Tutor Chatbot is an intelligent learning assistant developed for the Canada School of Public Service to provide personalized tutoring and knowledge assessments within online training modules. The system is currently in production and is used by Government of Canada employees to access content-specific tutoring and complete formative assessment activities.
This chatbot engages with learners through conversational interactions, answering questions about course material and administering knowledge checks to help track learning progress. The system uses CSPS course content and quiz data to deliver contextually relevant responses and assessments.
Key transparency information: This system processes personal information about GC employees, including their learning interactions and assessment results. The system was developed by external vendors (ELB Learning, AITutorPro, and Mizou) and operates as part of the CSPS learning infrastructure.
