The Catalogue Management AI system is designed to optimize how learning resources are indexed, classified, and discovered within the Canada School of Public Service (CSPS) course catalogue. The system uses automated tagging and classification models to improve search functionality and help Government of Canada employees find the learning resources most relevant to their needs.
This AI system works with course catalogue metadata to enhance the accessibility and discoverability of learning materials. The system is currently in development and will eventually include Netflix-style recommendation capabilities to personalize learning suggestions. Since this system processes non-personal metadata rather than individual employee information, it does not involve the collection of personal data.
As a Government of Canada service developed with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, this system is subject to notification requirements and transparency measures to ensure public confidence in how AI is being deployed to serve government employees and their learning needs.
