AI-Powered XML Code Generation for Eligibility Systems
The Curam XML Assistant is an artificial intelligence tool currently in development by Employment and Social Development Canada, in partnership with Accenture. This system helps developers write CER (Curam Eligibility Rules) XML code by analyzing eligibility requirements documents provided by business analysts. The assistant uses natural language understanding to interpret complex eligibility criteria and generates corresponding XML code, reducing manual coding effort and potential errors.
The system also provides a chat interface that allows developers to ask questions about the Curam structure and codebase, serving as an intelligent reference tool to improve code quality and development efficiency. This system is designed for internal developer use only and does not process personal information about members of the public.
