The AI Exploratory Platform / SSC-SEP is a research and development initiative by Statistics Canada and the Shared Services Canada (SSC) Scientific Experimentation Platform. This system enables Government of Canada employees to test and experiment with artificial intelligence tools and models in a controlled, secure environment designed for innovation purposes.
The platform uses unclassified data to support exploratory research, allowing teams to evaluate new AI capabilities and methodologies. All testing occurs within Statistics Canada's Protected-B certified AI environment and SSC's scientific experimentation infrastructure, ensuring appropriate security and governance standards are maintained throughout the development process.
This system is currently in development and is designed for internal government use only. No personal information is involved in the platform's operations.
