Automated Healthcare Form Classification

Veterans Affairs Canada developed an artificial intelligence system to automatically identify and classify forms submitted through its healthcare provider portal. The system analyzes documents received from healthcare providers and determines their form type, which helps reduce the need for manual administrative processing by staff. This system was used by Government of Canada employees to streamline document handling workflows. The system is currently retired and no longer in active use. This system does not involve processing personal information.
