This platform allows Government of Canada employees to test and develop AI tools in a secure research environment. It uses two environments: a protected-B certified platform operated by Statistics Canada for sensitive data, and a scientific experimentation platform operated by Shared Services Canada for unclassified data. The system is currently in development and is primarily used for internal research and innovation, not for making decisions about members of the public.
