AI Risk Assessment for Technician Oversight

The Recognized Technician Monitoring Program is an AI system developed by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada that assesses risk levels for service providers and individual technicians. The system collects performance data from inspections and qualitative information through web forms, then assigns risk scores to determine appropriate monitoring frequency. This pilot program is currently in development and is used by Government of Canada employees. The system does not involve personal information processing, instead focusing on organizational and professional performance metrics to identify areas requiring increased oversight.
