AI-Powered Training Material Generation System

Environment and Climate Change Canada developed custom course creation tools as a proof of concept to explore how generative AI could be used to create training material for government employees. The system uses a Retrieval Augmented Generation approach, combining a generative AI model with source documents to produce customized course content.

This system was designed to assist Government of Canada employees in accessing relevant training materials more efficiently. The tool augments generative AI capabilities with carefully selected source documents to ensure course content remains grounded in authoritative training material.

Key Information: This project is now retired. The system does not involve the collection or processing of personal information. It is intended exclusively for use by GC employees.
