AI-Powered Scientific Literature Review Tool
Health Canada uses machine learning technology to improve the efficiency of conducting scientific literature reviews, including systematic reviews and scoping reviews. This AI system helps researchers and GC employees streamline the review process by automatically removing duplicate references and assisting with screening and data extraction from scientific publications.
The system is currently in production and is designed to support the work of Government of Canada employees who conduct literature reviews as part of their research and policy development activities. The machine learning algorithms analyze scientific publications to identify relevant studies and extract key information, reducing the manual effort required for these comprehensive literature review processes.
This system does not collect or process personal information about individuals. It focuses solely on analyzing scientific publications and reference materials to improve research efficiency and accuracy in the literature review process.
