AI-Powered Assistant for Government Staff
myGCAssistant (Radia) is an artificial intelligence platform currently in development by the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. The system is designed to help Government of Canada employees work more efficiently by providing AI-powered assistance with everyday tasks such as finding information, drafting documents, and answering frequently asked questions.
The platform operates as a bilingual, accessible AI chat assistant that can provide source-backed answers and help with document drafting. It is designed with both English and French language support to serve Canada's diverse workforce. The system uses agentic process assistants to help automate routine workflows and improve productivity across government departments.
This system is intended for use by GC employees only and does not currently involve the processing of personal information. As this system is still in development, the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat continues to evaluate its capabilities and safety measures to ensure it meets government standards for secure, responsible AI deployment.
