AI-Powered Development and Learning Content Tools

The Canada School of Public Service uses AI tools to accelerate product development cycles and improve the quality, usability, and accessibility of learning content and code. These tools support Government of Canada employees by providing capabilities for code generation, debugging, research support, and accessibility improvements. The system is currently in production and does not collect or process personal information about individuals.

The AI tools are developed in partnership with major technology vendors including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. They work with internal code and content repositories to assist with development tasks. Because these tools do not involve personal information, privacy risks are minimized, though organizations should remain vigilant about intellectual property, code security, and the appropriate use of AI-generated outputs.

This transparency page provides information about how these AI tools operate, what data they use, and how they support the public service's mission to deliver better learning and development resources.
