This system leverages generative AI technology to automatically create and optimize code in the R programming language, handling complex data processing and model logic steps that would traditionally require significant manual effort from analysts.
The system does not involve personal information. It is currently in development and is designed for use by Government of Canada employees. By automating routine coding tasks, the system allows analysts to focus their expertise on higher-value work, such as interpreting forecast results and communicating findings to stakeholders. The underlying AI model is developed by OpenAI and trained on internet data sources.
