AI-Powered Artistic Style Transfer for Images

The Style Transfer Image Processing System is an artificial intelligence tool developed by the National Film Board during the research and development phase of a creative project. This system uses neural networks to analyze artistic styles from works of art and apply those visual characteristics to other images, enabling creative experimentation with different artistic approaches. The system is currently in development and testing phases, and is used by Government of Canada employees working on film and media projects. This technology processes images to understand and transfer artistic elements such as color palettes, brushwork patterns, and compositional techniques. While the system is designed to work with images, users should be aware that the AI analyzes visual content to perform its style transfer function.
