Dimension AI is an integrated research intelligence platform currently in development that provides Government of Canada employees with access to a comprehensive, interconnected database of global research outputs. The system enables users to discover, analyze, and evaluate scholarly publications, grants, patents, and other research outcomes to support informed decision-making in the research ecosystem.
The platform performs bibliometric analyses to assess research impact, identifies suitable peer reviewers based on publication data and expertise, and provides insights to support due diligence and research security assessments. By aggregating and analyzing vast amounts of research data from around the world, Dimension AI helps Canadian researchers and administrators make better-informed decisions about research priorities, collaborations, and grant management.
This system does not currently involve the collection of personal information about individuals. It focuses on analyzing published research outputs and institutional research data to generate insights for Government of Canada employees who use the platform.
