The Results Stories LLM Project is an artificial intelligence system currently in development by Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada. This system uses a fine-tuned Large Language Model to automatically extract numerical data and key information from textual project descriptions and reports. The system is designed to improve the efficiency and accuracy of results reporting by converting narrative project information into structured data that can be more easily analyzed and tracked.
The system processes project titles and descriptions from Government of Canada housing and infrastructure initiatives. It is intended for use by Government of Canada employees involved in project management and results reporting. This system does not involve the processing of personal information about individuals. The AI extraction capability enables more consistent and comprehensive results reporting across multiple projects and programs.
