The AI Process Assistance Tool is an email generation system designed to help Global Affairs Canada's International Assistance Operations team respond to common inquiries more efficiently. The system analyzes documents related to international assistance programming and recommends appropriate responses based on the organization's established policies and procedures.
This tool does not process personal information about individuals. Instead, it works with documents and data related to international assistance programs to generate professional email responses. The system is currently in production and is used by Government of Canada employees who work on international assistance matters.
The tool uses natural language processing and a recommendation engine to analyze incoming inquiries and suggest responses, helping staff provide consistent and accurate information to external stakeholders while reducing the time spent drafting routine communications.
