This internal chatbot helps Employment and Social Development Canada officers answer public enquiries about the Canada Labour Code and related regulations in real time. It uses generative AI and natural language processing to search and summarize complex legal documents. The system is currently in development and is intended for use by Government of Canada employees, not directly by the public. Users are informed when AI is involved in generating a response.
