The Enterprise Policy Chatbot is an artificial intelligence system developed by the Government of Canada to help employees quickly find answers to questions about Government of Canada and Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) policies, standards, and procedures. The system uses advanced retrieval-augmented technology to search official policy documents and provide consistent guidance with proper source citations.
This system is designed for Government of Canada employees who need quick access to policy information. By providing immediate, accurate answers to common policy questions, the chatbot aims to reduce the burden on policy teams who currently handle repetitive inquiries, while ensuring all employees receive consistent guidance based on official sources.
The system does not collect or process personal information about users. It is currently in development and will include safeguards such as access controls and user feedback mechanisms to ensure accurate and appropriate responses.
